“A occhi aperti” is the installation by the brothers and photographers from Lecce, Flavio and Frank, the result of a workshop carried out together with Gabriele Surdo (whose moving images can be admired inside the museum) on the outside walls of the Castromediano Museum.

It is the expression of a lifelong passion, the collection of Maurizio Aiuto, a veritable "mal d'arte", that is “art sickness” that, shortly before his death, the eccentric and visionary from Salento, perhaps, thought to cure by sharing his artistic heritage. The donation arrives at the Castromediano Museum with 74 works, including sculptures, paintings and drawings.
