Of the children

"In the name of the father, of the mother" and "of the children", the last part of the trilogy staged by the Salento actor Mario Perrotta, multiple winner and finalist of the Ubu Prize. After investigating the contemporary version of parental figures, Perrotta closely observes the version of children stuck in a sort of "chronic and perpetual adolescence" that prevents them from recognizing and living as adults. On the stage there is therefore a house with invisible walls, fluid like the lives that live there and pass through them.

A sort of limbo, a purgatory of suspension for the current four residents and their equally large screens, like huge smartphones, which enclose their respective families of origin: parents, sisters, cousins. Each hangs over the lives of the other, "13 characters for a bitterly comic intertwining, an endless twist of lives at risk, harnessed as they are in reflecting on themselves".
