Lecce Sup Race 2022

Boards and paddles gather in the sea of San Cataldo for the second stage of the Italian Stand Up Paddle and Paddleboard Championship. The sport "crossower", which involves paddling standing up on a "Sup board", in recent years has attracted more and more followers coming, also, from more related disciplines such as windsurfing or kiteboarding. Balance is essential but surfing techniques and maneuvers depend on the skill of the athlete. The championship takes place at the SWS (Salento Windsurf School) of Lido York, and is organized by ASD "Marina di San Cataldo", under the aegis of the FISW (Italian Nautical Ski and Wakeboard Federation) with the involvement and collaboration of all the sports associations of the Salento peninsula active in table disciplines.
