WEEK OF MEMORY/Passage in Salento

Written, directed and performed by Giustina De Iaco, the theatrical show “Passage in Salento” is staged in the spaces of the Jewish Museum on the occasion of the “Week of Memory”. The show tells the story of Ester, who survived the holocaust and arrived in Salento in transit camps 34 and 39. Her slow and difficult rebirth, her return to life, flourish in those places that gave refuge to the veterans of the Shoah, between the people of Salento who, although tried by the war, did not hesitate to welcome and help. But what was Esther's fate? Between the land that welcomed it and the promised land, life will start again from its “Passage to Salento”.

Ticket: 10 euros, including show, guided tour of the museum and tasting of a glass of kosher wine.
