The Conversations of Sant'Anna/ Lecce Sacra

It was 1634 when Giulio Cesare Infantino's work 'Lecce Sacra' went to press. The Lecce of that era, its streets, its palaces and its inhabitants, were recounted in the volume through the narration of the art and ingenuity of those who lived and loved it, to explore and appreciate the ancient and devout, authentic and sincere soul of the Leccesi and discover that domestic paradise of saints, blessed, venerable and those who served the faith through sculpted, painted and written art. The anastatic copy of Infantino's volume, edited by Mario Cazzato, is at the centre of "Le conversazioni di Sant'Anna", organised by the Pignatelli association and the Festinamente association in the spaces of the church of the same name. The event is also an opportunity to present the restoration of the painting "Ecce homo" by Rosanna Loiacono.
