Tempora Contempora/ Sound Body

For the fourth edition of Tempora/Contempora, the international focus on body language in the performing arts, sponsored by the Accademia Mediterranea dell'Attore and the Lecce biblio-museum pole, there is "E bardhe," a national premiere concert by composer and visual artist Alban Nimani with the band Asgje Sikur Dielli (Kosovo-Albania), at the Convitto Palmieri. The themes, tackled in a particular metaphorical style, offer an introspective and poetic approach to music, a characteristic that has carved the band, which was formed in the 1990s, a prominent place in the Albanian alternative music scene. Thanks to the frontman's performances and provocative lyrics that push musical boundaries, the band over time has created a direct bond with the audience, often, overcoming language and cultural barriers.
