Stadium District Carnival

Kicking off at 2.30 p.m., from Piazza del Mercato (167 A), the Carnival of the Stadio district organised by a network of associations embracing various realities such as Bfake, 167B Street, Villeggiatura in panchina, 167 Revolution, the parishes of San Giovanni Battista, Kolbe, San Sabino and the Istituto Comprensivo Stomeo Zimbalo. A cheerful and colourful parade open to all that brings together goliardia, music, fun and that pinch of madness that only this festival has as its prerequisite. Masks and masked groups then cross the 167 B area, stopping in via Carrara, to finally arrive, at 4 p.m., across via Pistoia, at piazzale Cuneo and the Calvino vegetable gardens where the final party explodes and the embers are lit for the community barbecue at popular prices to support the associations organising the event. The route is enlivened by music, floats and fun activities.
