St. Oronzo 2023/ City of Lecce Award

It has now become a small tradition: since 2018, the city administration has been giving the City of Lecce Award to merchants and artisans who have been conducting their business for 50 years. Five decades in which the shutter has gone up and the sign lit deserve a plaque of thanks and commendation from the city. Recognition for those who, often with enormous sacrifice, have spanned multiple generations and managed to keep their business going. The awards evening, in the embrace of the Teatini cloister, opened with a dance performance by the Csen, a sports promotion organization in Lecce.
