S.e.m.i./Enrico Lo Verso

It was 7 October 1571 when the historic battle and first victory of a Christian fleet against the Ottoman Empire took place at Lepanto. The date was not chosen at random for the meeting "Our Lady of the Turks", with Enrico Lo Verso playing Carmelo Bene, in dialogue with Brizia Elsa Minerva, in the Salento artist's studio reconstructed inside the Bernardini Library. The event is part of the programme of S.e.m.i., Storie di Eccellenza Merito e Innovazione, an international event promoted by the Cultura Italiae association.
