Qui se mai verrai/ Vulgar language

Entangled in the foliage of the large magnolia tree in the garden of the former Sant'Anna Conservatory are the verses of Paola Maritati who, for "Qui se mai verrai... Il Salento dei poeti", a cycle of meetings dedicated to contemporary poetic research in Salento and Apulia organised by the Fondo Verri, presents her debut poem "Lingua volgare" (Musicaos editore). Hers "is poetry that takes us back to the immediate moment of a life "here and now", with a radicality of the contemporary Middle Ages, sacred and profane, between triviality and irony, sarcasm and mockery". The author is accompanied by the music of Valter Guerra.
