On the threshold of noise

We live in the so-called 'postmedia era'. The spread of the personal computer has radically changed the media world, as well as our own daily lives. Technology not only informs our existence, but extends and expands the possibilities of our bodies. We all have the same doubts and ask ourselves the same questions. What consequences does this new condition, characterised by permanent connectedness, have and where does it take us? How does it influence the different dimensions of the human and in which direction does it bring about change? Ruggero Eugeni, lecturer in media semiotics at the Catholic University of Milan, reflects on these issues in the conference "On the Threshold of Noise: Life on the Net from Dispersion to Presence", promoted by the Comunità della Casa as part of the review "Le frontiere dell'uomo": cultural encounters for young people and adults, with a taste for words. 90' to touch experiences of everyone's life.
