Natale all’Abbazia di Cerrate/ In…canto di Natale

Winter is here, houses are full of decorations, trees, nativity scenes. It is Christmas, and it is difficult to refrain from interpreting the air of festivity with representations, presents, and music. And it is precisely with music that the aisles of the Church of Santa Maria di Cerrate resound, in the aftermath of the Catholic anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ. For the “Christmas at the Abbey of Cerrate” event, the children's choir “In... canto di Natale” of the “Elisa Springer” Institute of Surbo, fills the Abbey with the most representative songs of the Christmas tradition, directed by professor Dora Garzya. The event is organised by the Lecce delegation of the Fondo Ambiente Italiano, under the patronage of the Municipality of Lecce.
