
Literature Festival

Day two for the Festival of Literature hosted in the spaces of the Academy of Fine Arts along with a series of exhibitions, workshops and meetings open to the public with writers, cartoonists, photographers, cultural operators, journalists, and national and international artists. The theme of the second edition, conceived by the Academy and organised in collaboration with Palcom Comunicazione, under the artistic direction of writer Anilda Ibrahimi, is 'Beyond the Boundary of Words', and the second day opens with students meeting two professionals from the world of culture and publishing. At 10 a.m. Maria Ida Gaeta addresses the issue of cultural management, at the end Carmen Prestia delves into the work of the literary agent. At 6.45 p.m. the musical interlude is with the young pianist Francesco Marra who introduces the presentation of 'L'estate brucia ancora' (Guanda), Chiara Fina's debut novel.
At 8 p.m., the writer Antonio Pascale will be the protagonist of the talk "Oasi del pessimismo, ovvero perché costruire un giardino per consololare gli afflitti e per capire meglio l'amore e la natura umana", inspired by his book "L'altra scommessa. Pascal, an investigation into pessimism' (Marsilio).
The festival also hosts several exhibitions: one of photography, by Fabrizio Spucches, "Home swept home", and that of Enri Canaj, "Say Goodbye Before You Leave". Space is also given to comics, with the exhibition of a selection of original covers and plates, as well as art print and paper lithography exhibitions.
