An annual appointment to present the most relevant topics of Treccani's constant research on the Italian language, conceived by Fondazione Treccani Cultura and realised in collaboration with Regione Puglia and Teatro pubblico pugliese, Polo biblio-museale di Lecce, Società oftalmologica italiana and Fondazione Giancarlo Pallavicini, with the contribution of Treccani reti and with the patronage of Provincia e Comune di Lecce and Università del Salento. Media partner Rai cultura and Rai radio 3. All this is #leparolevalgono. Treccani Festival of the Italian Language, dedicated in this sixth edition to the word amazement. The third and final day begins at 11 a.m. with the meeting "La lingua nel pallone o storia di una lingua speciale", a dialogue between linguists Rocco Luigi Nichil and Marcello Aprile. This will be followed at 12 noon by the keynote lecture "Le tante lingue del Web: convivenza tra parola scritta, parola detta e altri linguaggi nell'infosfera" (The many languages of the Web: coexistence between the written word, the spoken word and other languages in the infosphere), by linguist Massimo Palermo.
