From Lecco to Lecce. The preview of the third edition of "#leparolevalgono", a festival of the Italian language organized by the Treccani Cultura Foundation in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecce, the Puglia Region, the Pugliese Public Theater, the University of Salento and other partners, arrives for the first time in the Salento capital, to reward its cultural effervescence. The three days is a tantalizing taste of the annual event created by the foundation to present the most relevant topics of its constant research on the Italian language.
The program of the second day kicks off at 6 pm (also live streaming on the facebook page of the Treccani Foundation) with the meeting moderated by Cristina Faloci (author and host of Radio3). After the greetings of the director of Treccani Massimo Bray and the introduction on the word "environment" by the linguist Maria Vittoria Dell'Anna, we discuss "Risks and opportunities for the environment" with Enrico Alleva (ethologist), Mariagrazia Midulla (Climate manager and Energy of WWF Italy), Fabio Pollice (rector of the University of Salento), Carlo Salvemini (mayor of Lecce and national delegate Anci on waste and energy), Edoardo Zanchini (vice president of Legambiente).
At 9 pm the Apollo Theater welcomes “In camera caritatis”, the special acoustic concert by Francesco Bianconi, singer and author of the Baustelle, accompanied by Zevi Bordovach (organ), Alessandro Trabace (violin) and Angelo Trabace (piano). The opportunity to listen to the most recent production in the studio of the Tuscan singer-songwriter in a more intimate version, while waiting for his official tour.
