From Lecco to Lecce. The preview of the third edition of "#leparolevalgono", a festival of the Italian language organized by the Treccani Cultura Foundation in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecce, the Puglia Region, the Pugliese Public Theater, the University of Salento and other partners, arrives for the first time in the Salento capital, to reward its cultural effervescence. The three days is a tantalizing taste of the annual event created by the foundation to present the most relevant topics of its constant research on the Italian language. Workshops for students, teachers and meetings on the theme of the environment are scheduled with numerous guests, including the ethologist Enrico Alleva, the climate and energy manager of WWF Italy Mariagrazia Midulla, the vice president of Legambiente Edoardo Zanchini, the writer Paolo di Paolo and the songwriters Giovanni Truppi and Francesco Bianconi of the Baustelle. In collaboration with Ispra, the higher institute for environmental protection and research, the Augustinians host the photographic exhibition "Italy loses land", curated by the Neapolitan photographer Angelo Antolino, which addresses the issue of land consumption and degradation of territory in Italy.

The start at 9 with thematic meetings and educational workshops dedicated to upper secondary school students and teacher training on the most innovative aspects of language and the most recent developments in dissemination tools.

Until 1.30 pm Maria Vittoria Dell’Anna (professor of Italian Linguistics at UniSalento) and Alberto Laratro analyze with the students the linguistic map of the word "environment" and the languages ​​of the future.

The workshop dedicated to teachers begins at 2.30 pm and until 4.30 pm deals with Nicola Rizzuti and Raffaele Capano of the practices, which mark the path from historical sources to narratives.
