There are more than three hundred variants of one of the world's best-known and oldest fairy tales. Zaches Teatro's "Cinderella", staged at the Paisiello Theatre for Kids, Festival of theatre and arts for the new generations, is an initiatory fairy tale, in which the difficult road to maturity passes through detachment from the past. A heroine who is the author of her own destiny finds redemption in her inner strength: a recluse, amidst ashes and loneliness, she moves, almost invisible, in the soot of life seemingly extinguished, but inside her burns the embers of the desire for a different existence that will lead her to court.
