Kids/ Anastasia. The Tsar's Last Daughter

Berlin, 1920. A woman is saved from death in a canal. After months of muteness in hospital, she reveals that she is 'Anastasia, the last daughter of the Tsar', the title of the play devised by Roberta Ferrara, on stage at the Apollo theatre for Kids, the Festival of theatre and arts for the new generations. Anastasia claims to be the last daughter of the Romanovs, the Russian royals slaughtered by Bolshevik militias in 1918. A survivor. One of the most mysterious cases of the 20th century. A detail might reveal it, the colour of her eyes or a scar, or a secret word that now passes from mouth to mouth. Between dream and desire, memory or reality, the dance explodes in space and, in dialogue with the video projections, recreates distant places until the walls of that hospital in which Anastasia is trapped in search of herself crumble.
