Shell World was Mother Earth's home, inhabited by creatures devoted to play and wonder. But when they grew up they stopped wondering, discovering and asking questions, thus destroying Mother Earth and her Shell World, which ended up in the corner of broken and forgotten things. It will then be three timeless characters, Darkness, Silence and Loneliness, who will take care of her through '9 gestures', the title of the show by the company QuattroX4, on stage at Manifatture Knos for Kids, a theatre and arts festival for the new generations, conceived and organised by Factory Compagnia Transadriatica and Principio attivo teatro. In the large pyramidal structure at the centre of the stage, Ester Beghelli, Enrico Formaggi and Clara Storti alternate, directed by Nadia and Milani, who also wrote the dramaturgy. The three once again give Mother Earth the strength to come out of her shell world, which will be repopulated with music, words and feelings, because it is only by welcoming our opposite that we can give life to the wonder that springs from an encounter. Between contemporary circus and figure theatre, the show is a hymn to change, to destroying and rebuilding and to love.
