Here if you ever come/ The Empire that is silent

Music and poetry in the shade of the large magnolia tree in the garden of the former Sant'Anna Conservatory. Ilaria Seclì, poetess, editor of the blog 'Le ragioni dell'acqua' (The Reasons for Water) and contributor to some of the most important Italian literary sites and anthologies, and Valerio Daniele, musician, guitarist and founder of the Desuonatori collective, with which he recently published 'Racconti dalla fine del mondo' (Tales from the end of the world), will be present for the second event of the Fondo Verri's 'Qui se mai verrai... il Salento dei poeti' (Here if you ever come... the Salento of poets). Together they create 'L'Impero che si tace'. To "be with poetry", say the Fondo Verri, "it is necessary to continually train one's listening, to refine it in the present and to have, always alive, the memory of the past".

Free entrance.
