The centuries-old ficus magnolia tree in the courtyard of the former Sant'Anna Conservatory hosts a new event in the Fondo Verri's "Qui se mai verrai... Il Salento dei poeti" series, which investigates the contemporary nature of Salento's poetic research. On the notes of Leone Marco Bartolo's guitar, declaiming his verses is Giuseppe Semeraro with "Materiali per un respiro" (Materials for a breath), words like invocations, warnings, fragile and at the same time indestructible. Light as rare things but with the specific weight of the human soul, fertile in its way of giving unprecedented shape to the world.
