Hands and listening/ Antonio Verri

The first appointment of the new year with "Incontri con il pianoforte tra parole e musica" (Meetings with the piano between words and music) as part of the 22nd edition of "Le mani e l'ascolto" (Hands and listening) in the spaces of the Fondo Verri, the event that combines words and sounds, hosting writers, poets and musicians. And it is precisely to the unforgettable Salento poet, writer and cultural operator Antonio Verri that the evening is dedicated, starting at 7 p.m. with the presentation of the series edited by Kurumuny, 'Declaro'. The publishing house re-proposes the work of "an author refractory to any attempt at classification, babelic and magmatic", so that it can be known also by younger readers, accompanying them in the exploration of a literary heritage waiting to be discovered. This will be discussed with the series director, Simone Giorgino, and the publisher, Giovanni Chiriatti. This will be followed, at around 8 p.m., by a recital taking its title from one of the most famous verses by the eclectic Caprarica poet 'Fate solo quel che vi incanta' (Do only what enchants you), produced by the Fondo Verri. A tribute in music and words that traverses the work of Antonio Leonardo Verri and features Bruno Galeone and Daria Falco (accordion, drums and songs), Vincenzo Grasso (clarinets), Davide Chiarelli (percussion), Emanuele Coluccia (piano), Simone Franco and Piero Rapanà (reciting voices).
