Festival of Sustainable Development/ Environmental Sustainability in the Theatre

Environment, sustainability and theatre. Koreja joins the Festival of Sustainable Development and opens its doors to Salento's associations working on environmental sustainability with the aim of building a dialogue with the territory. The meeting in the foyer is an opportunity to discuss what has been done and what still needs to be done to reduce environmental impact, but also to forge collaborations, activate synergies and build, together, a sustainable future. Already an ecotheatre, Koreja has been promoting energy efficiency and building sustainability, waste recycling and composting, green areas, organic purchasing, accessibility and sustainable mobility in the Cantieri for many years. After the round table around which sit Fridays for Future Lecce, Emys Gallipoli and Coordinamento ambientale Salento, Legambiente futuro verde, Salento Km 0, Precious plastic, Lecce Pedala, Crocevia-Crorororo Multiculturale, Civico 21, and the parish of Santa Maria della Pace, we go out into the street, in the Borgo Pace neighbourhood where the theatre itself stands, to clean it up together with all those who want to take part in the initiative.
