European Researchers' and Women's Night

After the last edition in 2019, the European Researchers' Night science popularisation event is back. Research and innovation on macrocosm and microcosm, nanotechnology, biomedicine, agriculture and food, environment and sustainability, biosphere much more, with around 70 proposals scheduled. The 'European Researchers' Night' is organised by the University of Salento, in collaboration with CNR, Infn, Iit, Cmcc, Enea and Instm and with the support of the Regional Council of Puglia. On the final day, the programme is very rich and introduces us to the future and the new frontiers of science with the "Researchers' Night". Between the Olivetani and the Studium 2000 complex, from 3 p.m. to midnight, there will be scientific exhibits and shows, multisensory experiences and citizen science initiatives, laboratories and research stands, applied research and prototypes, live experiments and scientific games, museums and exhibitions, debates and round tables. Scientific research activities from traditional to more modern fields are narrated first-hand by UniSalento scholars. You can also watch "Disorder and complexity: Nobel research in five lessons", a CNR WebTV production directed by CNR Nanotec, which honours the awarding of the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physics to Giorgio Parisi.
