EPPOI Festival 2023

The third edition of EPPOI Festival kicks off in the San Pio neighborhood, curated by the Fucina Salentina association. In the evening, the squares, streets and places of everyday life come alive with music, circus, theater, visual art, markets, games and workshops. The first day of the festival opens at 6 p.m. with a neighborhood bicycle parade, starting from Porta Napoli. At 7:30 p.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Square two wheels again take center stage with the Bike Festival: outdoor cycle workshop, bike self-repair workshop, games and bike auction by Fucina Salentina, VeloService, Officina Onza Onza, CPK, Alfonsina, Salento Bici Tour. Chess games organized by Lecce Scacchi will follow. End of the evening with a concert by Choropo. At 9 p.m. the two Genoese musicians Filippo Gambetta (Brazilian mandolin, accordion) and Alessandro Scotto D'Aniello (Brazilian 7-string guitar) take the stage to accompany the audience on a journey of discovery of Brazilian and Venezuelan instrumental music.
