Conversations on the Future/ Free Bodies

The body is the pivotal theme of the first part of the long afternoon at the Officine Culturali Ergot, of the festival Conversazioni sul futuro, an event on the contemporary world organised by the association Diffondiamo idee di valore with the coordination of Gabriella Morelli. The first appointment scheduled at 6.30 p.m. is inspired by and takes its name from the podcast "Corpi liberi" (Free Bodies), written by Silvia Ranfagni and Giovanni Piperno, which tells the story of a trans person, a non-binary and a bewildered mother in search of answers. Screenwriter and writer Silvia Ranfagni discusses it with Vera Gheno, sociolinguist, Luciana Righetti of GenderLens and Rosaria Riccardo president of Agedo Lecce.
At 7.45 p.m., instead, Corriere della Sera journalist Roberta Scorranese will talk with Vera Gheno about women's bodies in the history of art, a topic she has explored in her latest book "A questo serve il corpo" (Bompiani). Moderator: Katia Lotteria, president of the Lecce Women's House.
The last appointment of the day is dedicated to comics: it will close at 9 p.m. with the presentation of the graphic novel "Technoldogy", a new volume signed by the scriptwriter Francesco Artibani, the illustrator Claudio Sciarrone and the author Fausto Vitaliano, who will talk about it with the journalist Valentina De Poli.
