
Conversations on the future/Climate change

Science and climate are at the centre of the first part of the afternoon at the Convitto Palmieri for Conversazioni sul futuro, an event organised by the association Diffondiamo idee di valore with the coordination of Gabriella Morelli, who talks about the contemporary world. At 3.30 p.m. it starts with the talk 'Data, journalism and scientific information', with Angela Morelli, Anna Pirani, Elena Testi and Elisabetta Tola. At 5.45 p.m. there will be a talk on 'Climate change and the future of cities' with Riccardo Luna, Paola Mercogliano, Carlo Salvemini, Edoardo Zanchini and Paola Ancora.
At 7.00 p.m. there will be the presentation of the book 'Ecoshock. Come cambiare il destino dell'Italia al centro della crisi climatica' (Ecoshock. How to change the fate of Italy at the centre of the climate crisis) by Giuseppe Caporale, who will dialogue with Elena Testi.
At 8.15 p.m. there will be a page turner with "Mogadishu, 20 March 1994: the death of Ilaria Alpi and Miran Hrovatin", a monologue by Annalisa Camilli on the journalist Ilaria Alpi killed with her cameraman in Mogadishu, Somalia, on 20 March 1994 while investigating arms and waste trafficking in the country.
