
Conversations about the future

The final day of the Conversations on the Future festival opens in the morning with meetings and appointments for children and adults. The first is at 10 a.m. at the Convitto Palmieri theatre for 'Telling complexity: journalism, media and public opinion'.
The morning then continues with the youngest and EDU_CARE: at 10.30 am, in the cloister of the Augustinians with "Let's fly with Tello" (ages 11-14, maximum 8 participants); at 10.30 am in the OgniBene library with "The Blue Prince and the muscle-killing witch"; at 11 am, cloister of the Augustinians, with "In flight with Luisa". (For all, booking is compulsory at bibliotecaognibene.it/agenda).
Books also fill the morning and early afternoon: at 11.30 am, at the Officine Culturali Ergot, there is Annalisa Camilli with her "Un giorno senza fine. Storie dall'Ucraina in guerra" (Ponte alle grazie); in the Liberrima bookshop, at 12 noon, there is L'Ultimo Uomo with "Rivali. Sfide leggendarie che hanno cambiato lo sport" (Einaudi); at 12 noon, in the Rudiae Archaeological Park, Matteo Motolese talks about his "L'eccezione fa la regola. Sette storie di errori che raccontano l'italiano" (Garzanti); at 12 noon, in the little theatre of the Convitto Palmieri, Massimo Cirri and Chiara D'Ambros present "Quello che serve. un racconto tra malattia, cura e servizio sanitario nazionale" (Manni); at 4 p.m., in the OgniBene library, the pages of "Lingua madre: racconti di donne straniere in Italia" (Mother tongue: tales of foreign women in Italy) edited by Daniela Finocchi; at 5.30 p.m., at the Paisiello Theatre, Ezio Mauro brings his "L'anno del fascismo. 1922, cronache della marcia su Roma' (Feltrinelli).
The Ergot cultural workshops, at 5.30 p.m., will host a talk on 'Media and body: beyond sche(r)me'.
An evening appointment for EDU_CARE: at 6 p.m., in the OgniBene library, a talk on Rachele Furfaro's book "La buona scuola" (Feltrinelli).
At 6 p.m. the CineLab screen is switched on for "Be my voice" by Nahid Persson.
The evening then continues with various books and their authors: at the Liberrima bookshop, at 7 p.m., Esperance Hakuzwimana arrives with his "Tutta intera" (Einaudi); at 7 p.m., at the Paisiello theatre, Amedeo Balbi with "Su un altro pianeta. C'è un futuro per l'umanità fuori dalla terra?" (Rizzoli); at 7pm, the Officine Culturali Ergot host Matteo Spicuglia and his "Noi due siamo uno" (Add Editore); at 7pm, at the Officine Cantelmo there is Isabella Borrelli with "Extrabold. Dalle acquisizioni alle traduzioni: le scelte editoriali come atto politico" (From acquisitions to translations: publishing choices as a political act); at 8.30 pm the Ergot cultural workshops host Nicola Macchionne and his book "Il sesso semplice. Il sesso che siamo e quello che facciamo, spiegati in modo semplice e intuitivo" (Fabbri editore); at 8.30 pm Lorenzo Cremonesi is at the Officine Cantelmo to present his "Guerra infinita. Forty years of conflicts. Rimossi dal Medio Oriente all'Ucraina" (Solferino); at 9.30 pm the appointment is at Officine Cantelmo with Simonetta Gola and her "Una persona alla volta. A tribute to Gino Strada" (Feltrinelli). Dialogue with the author Elena Testi (La 7) and Marco Damilano (Rai 3, Domani).
