Christmas in Lecce/ Epiphany Walk

They have been meeting at various points in the city, for years now, in the morning or in the evening, rain or shine, to walk together for physical and mental wellbeing. And for Befana (Epiphany), the Life Walking association calls together the "fast walkers" of Lecce for a walk at a brisk pace with no age limit, perhaps wearing an "accessory" that refers to the friendly old lady. And so it is that a small army of 'epiphanic walkers' will gather, at 10.00 a.m., in Piazza Sant'Oronzo, to walk cheerfully through the main streets of Lecce to the ideal finish line for greetings and good wishes.
