Christmas in Lecce/ Epiphany Concert

'If we lend a hand, miracles will be performed and Christmas Day will last the whole year,' wrote Gianni Rodari. And on the thread of mutual solidarity and participation are also the notes of the 'Epiphany Concert' between the aisles of the basilica of Santa Croce, the penultimate event in the series of events held in Lecce's churches by the municipal administration. The audience will be led through a setlist ranging from sacred music by Franck ("Panis Angelicus") to Morricone ("Gabriel's oboe", "Angeli Dei", "C'era una volta il west"), from Gomez ("Ave Maria") to Ippolito-Ettorre ("Pastorale tarantina") to Adam ("Cantique de Noël") and all the way to Verdi ("La Vergine degli angeli") are soprano Chiara Scatolino, Rosellina Massari's oboe, Angela Cosi's harp and Antonio Rizzato's piano.
