Christmas in Lecce/ Carousel and Toy Fair

It evokes the carousels of the 19th century, with horses inlaid by hand like those of the Belle Époque. It spins, it rings, it shimmers, while the steeds go up and down. It is like a dream come true that makes Piazza Mazzini magical: it is the great merry-go-round set up again this year in the commercial heart of the city, a marvel of bygone times that fascinates young and old alike. Then, once off the horseback, everyone can browse from stall to stall, to buy toys, including handcrafted ones and from different parts of the world, Christmas decorations, various and colourful objects, all enclosed in the Christmas Market

The fair is open from 10 a.m. to midnight.

The Fair of Toys, Decorations and Christmas Gifts, on the other hand, runs from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
