Asia Lover Fest

Smelling of the Orient are the halls of Cinema Massimo for the first edition of Asia Lover Fest, a film and music festival dedicated to Asia, with artistic direction by Cristina Massaro and organization by ALVision. Screens light up as early as 10 a.m. with "Was My Enemy," a 2017 film by Bille August. At 11:45 a.m., "Lupen III," a 2014 film directed by Ryūhei Kitamura starring the famous thief created by Monkey Punch, is screened. At 5:30 p.m. Choi Dong-Hoon's "Assassination" (2015) offers an overview of pre-war Korea. At 8 p.m. screens "Ditto" (2022), by Seo Eun-Young, a vintage, sentimental comedy in pastel colors that delicately traverses a love affair born out of the use of an amateur radio shack. At 10 p.m. "Code of Assassin" by Daniel Lee while at midnight it closes with "The Divine Fury" by Joo-Hwan Kim.
