Alice and the Others/Dreams

"Dreams" and "Freedom" are the two key words of the seventh edition of "Alice and the others", a festival of women writers, directors and poets that, after two years of forced absence, lands in the Nasca theatre in the Stadio district, zone 167b. Two days revolving around the role of women in this historical moment, their stories, their dreams, their visions as directors, writers and poets. And two sections: one dedicated to cinema, curated by Paola Manno, with 14 short and medium-length films by national and international women directors and a special focus on Armenian women directors; and a section dedicated to literature and poetry, with the editors of the Collettiva publishing house.

It starts with "Dreams": at 6.30 p.m., after greetings by Simona Cleopazzo, Paola Manno and Simona De Carlo, the screen will light up on "Lose Yourself" by Giulia Zennaro. This will be followed by "Wonders" by Shaked Katsir; a literary interlude with Cristina Carlà narrating Alice Munro: "Housewife finds time to write short stories". This is followed by screenings of: "La confessione" by Benedicta Boccoli; "Maria Rose" by Antonella Barbera and Fabio Leone; "Dialogue" by Hamideh Javadi; "Azul" by Sofia Siller. The evening closes with the literature space: Teresa Musca tells Brunella Gasperini: "Non rompetemi il filo: viaggio intorno alla scrittura e alle relazioni".
