The Facts of June/ The Bridge of Winds

"What is essential is invisible to the eyes and only understood by the heart", is the secret that Antoine de Saint-Exupéry had the little prince reveal to the fox. Thousands of shots, 23 years of theatre distilled and condensed into this highly artistic photographic exhibition. For the project 'The Facts of June', in which theatrical research and pedagogy take the form of performances, films, exhibitions, collective practices and exceptional encounters, Francesco Galli masterfully testifies to the experience of the project 'The Bridge of Winds'. The group of international artists was founded in 1989 on the initiative of Iben Nagel Rasmussen, Eugenio Barba's muse and star of his Odin Teatret. The photographer, ethnographer and architect from Viterbo has selected a wealth of images from 1998 to 2021, documenting the actor's training, pedagogy and theatrical research. His particular talent is to bring out of the scene the unique moment of the action, or to condense it into an expression, which reveals the whole personality of the subject.
