Tutti Solo/ Cristian Musio

Tutti Solo/ Cristian Musio

It is an 'intimate vox' the sound of Cristian Musio's viola, capable of disentangling itself with elegant gracefulness from the events of the centuries, from the early 17th century to the most recent times of the Second World War. The Tricase musician observes how human history has changed, between flashes of colour and the stark duality of black and white, between moments of solitude and others of communion. Musio, born in 1993, graduated in viola at the Conservatorio 'Tito Schipa' in Lecce and perfected his skills at some of Italy's most prestigious music schools, such as Fiesole, under the guidance of maestro Antonello Farulli.  In 2015 he joined the Italian Youth Orchestra, collaborating with the likes of Danilo Rossi, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Guido Corti, Gianpaolo Pretto, Luca Ranieri, Danusha Waskiewitz, Lorenza Borrani. In 2016 he became first viola in the orchestra of the Accademia del teatro alla Scala in Milan, where he was conducted by Zubin Metha and David Coleman. In 2017, he made his debut in the 'Luigi Cherubini' Youth Orchestra, conducted by Riccardo Muti. Musio is a guest at the Fondo Verri for the review 'Tutti solo', curated by Giorgia Santoro.
