Quaranta poesie più un monologo

Beyond the surface of a cynical, venial society, engulfed by the chase after time that flees, there is still a land that some souls know how to make bloom. That soul, for Anna Maria Bernone, is the poet who, like no other, knows how to tell of a new rebirth through suffering but also through a smile. And poetry is the protagonist of her work “40 più uno. Quaranta poesie più un monologo” (Controluna), which seeks this rebirth through short, intense verses. Verses that are closed by a strong monologue, a “woman's cry”, 838 words taken from a “stolen memory”, which are a gift for the audience. Because that pain could be anyone's. In dialogue with the author, welcomed by the OgniBene Library, the journalist Antonietta Fulvio.
