Augustinian Books/ The Law of the Closed Drawer

Augustinian Books/ The Law of the Closed Drawer

"There is a spot in our brains where memories of things past, far away in time, lurk." This is "The Law of the Closed Drawer" (ed. Santelli), title of the fantasy novel by Michele Gaetano Malandrino, presented for Augustinians Books in the cloister of the former convent. The story is that of Lucio Arzeni, who decides to leave everything behind to embark on a new journey in search of himself. Guiding him will be the "Master," a former doctor, who does not practice, but is concerned with studying the workings of the human mind. Once "initiated," Lucius embarks on a journey as painful as it is fascinating into the dark depths of his being, on a path of self-evolution, which leads him to an unexpected turning point, the truth of his immortal being. With author Michele Malandrino, a professor of literature who is passionate about studying the extrasensory possibilities of human beings, dialogues with physician and researcher Carlo Mele.
