Agostiniani Libri/ L'acquaru lengu

"Everything I know about my roots was told to me by my mother Lucia, on long winter evenings when we would wait for my father to return from work, sitting behind the window panes overlooking the street where we lived when I was a child. With a time leap of at least seventy years, I wanted to tell it, in turn, to my four grandchildren who, considering my maternal family, are now in the fifth generation'. With the story "L'acquaru lengu. Nunnu Salvatore cuntani nu cuntu' (YouCanPrint) Enzo De Carlo builds a bridge between the generation of his mother's family, originally from Grecìa Salentina, and that of his four grandchildren. In the story, the author also uses dialect, contaminated by expressions and words in Greek, which at the time of his childhood was still spoken daily in the allochthonous communities of Salento. In the garden of the Ognibene Library, with musical accompaniment by Tommaso Baronetti, the author talks with councillor Silvia Miglietta and Sebastiano Conte.
