The Archaeological Park of Rudiae is filled with poetry, verses resound among the remains of the ancient city and its theatre for the first appointment of "Towards the night of the poets", an event included in the articulated project "Ark of Peace. Cultures, society, conflict" of the Italian Centre of the International Theatre Institute-Unesco with the aim to give back centrality to Apulia as a place of welcome and dialogue among peoples. Conceived and organised by the magazine Kaiak. A Philosophical Journey and Astràgali Teatro, under the patronage of the University of Salento, the evening is a tribute to Giovanni Bernardini, Arrigo Colombo and Kostantinos Kavafis, intellectuals who throughout their lives never ceased to investigate reality, including through poetry. On stage, Lucio Giannone, Walter Vergallo, Claudia Di Palma, Eleonora Ines Capone, Mauro Tre, Roberto Gagliardi, Simone Giorgino, Fabio Tolledi, Luciano Pagano and Kostas Kapodistria will outline their figures and the role they played in their time and social context.
