Vittorio Bodini International Literary Prize for Poetry

"We will one day make a poetic map of the South", wrote Salvatore Quasimodo in his famous "Discourse on poetry", an intuition collected by some of the greatest poets of the South, in particular by Vittorio Bodini.

Reflection that inspired the "Poetic Charter of the South. Journey into Southern Poetry", the final evening of the 2020 edition of the "Vittorio Bodini International Poetry Prize". On the stage of the Paisiello theater there are performances and moments of cultural study conducted by Tommaso Giartosio, poet and presenter of the historic radio program dedicated to “Fahrenheit” books. Among the guests the poet Antonio Prete, winner of the last edition, and the music of Crifiu with their "The South was a father and our mother Europe", dedicated to Bodini and the poets of the South.

The artistic direction is by Simone Giorgino and Margherita Macrì; readings and music by Gaspare Balsamo, Simone Franco, Claudio Prima, Roberta Quarta, Piero Rapanà, Cristiana Verardo and Fabio Tolledi. Start h. 20.
