Theatre of Places/ Water Stories: meditation on climate

20 August 2020 was Earth overshoot day, the day on which humanity consumed all the resources produced by the planet in the entire year. In 2021 Earth Overshoot Day was brought forward to 29 July, in 2022 to 15 May. Turinese director Gabriele Vacis asks the question, which more or less distresses us all: what remains, when there is no longer an aftermath, because the aftermath is already here? "Storie d'acqua: meditazione sul clima", a show staged in the Koreja Theatre Ortale for the "Teatro dei luoghi" festival, is a lecture show, where scientists, mystics and writers attempt to give a plausible answer to the thousands of fears and hopes of the generation that lives the ecological debt and the related climate change as a world battle, to be faced daily. Starting from literary and scientific texts, through stories and music, with Roberto Tarasco's scenofonie, the actors of the company Potenziali Evocati Multimediali accompany the audience to reflection.
