Theatre in the Pocket/ Plastic Gardens

Classics have the virtue of always being topical. One of Koreja's workhorses, Plastic Gardens, does not escape this rule.  Since 1996, this show has been taking the instructive message of the importance of recycling around the world, along with lots of poetry and magic. Poor materials of various kinds, simple everyday objects, especially plastic, are reused to evoke evocative visions thanks to the skilful use of lights and the skill of the three actors, who gradually become extraterrestrials, samurai, fairies, angels. Thanks to imagination, plastic can be recycled, transformed, until it comes back to life as if by magic in a thousand different ways, with the simplicity of children's games. A journey through memories, dreams, emotions, through dreamlike, fairytale worlds, full of colours, lights and sounds. A succession of plastic pictures inspired by nature, animals, plants, children, space, fashion, school, cartoons and realised with different techniques, from actor's theatre to toy theatre, passing through figure theatre.
