Theater of Places/ Anna Cappelli

The latest work by Neapolitan playwright Annibale Ruccello, "Anna Cappelli" directed by Renato Chiocca is staged at the Ortale of Cantieri Teatrali Koreja. A comedy that ends in tragedy that tells the story of Anna, played by Giada Prandi, who moves from Orvieto to Latina to work as a municipal employee. It is the 1960s, Italy is in the midst of an economic boom, and in a city like Latina, founded during Fascism and lacking identity roots compared to traditional Orvieto, the protagonist experiences a real uprooting. Anna is exposed to a strong emotional and mental strain from which she will try to save herself by sticking to love and the small certainties of always. The show is included in the playbill of "The Theatre of Places" in the section "The country and the community: theater."
