Teatro in Tasca/ Moun. Carried by the foam and the waves

On the Cantieri Teatrali Koreja stage, for the Teatro in Tasca review, the Teatro Gioco Vita company presents its version of "Moun" by Rascal. The war does not end, but food does, and Moun's parents make the most difficult decision. They build a small bamboo box and entrust their child and all their hopes to the sea. The baby lands on a beach across the sea, where a couple takes her to safety and adopts her. Moun grows up among many brothers and sisters, beloved. When her true origins are revealed, she inevitably comes to terms with her own history. After much suffering, she finally realises that they love her a world of good on the other side of the ocean. She then decides to entrust to the sea everything she possesses from that faraway place, namely the bamboo box, filled with everything she loved in her childhood years. The only actress on stage evokes, with a relaxed rhythm and poetic lightness, a story with strong themes, merging acting and dance with Teatro Gioco Vita's entire repertoire of shadow techniques.
