Teatro in Tasca/ Moun. Brought to you by foam and waves

The shadow company of Teatro Gioco Vita presents its version of Rascal's 'Moun'. The war does not end, but food does and Moun's parents make the most difficult decision. They build a small bamboo box and entrust their little creature and their remaining hopes to the sea. The baby lands on a beach across the sea, where a couple takes her to safety and adopts her. Moun grows up beloved among many brothers and sisters. When her true origins are revealed to her, she comes to terms with her own history. After much suffering, she finally realises that she was also loved on the other side of the ocean. She then decides to entrust to the sea everything she possesses from that faraway place, namely the bamboo box, filled with everything she loved in her childhood years. The only actress on stage evokes with poetic lightness a story with strong themes, merging acting and dance with Teatro Gioco Vita's entire repertoire of shadow techniques. The rhythm of the narration is relaxed and conveys a sense of great serenity.
