Teatri a Sud/ La notte dei poeti

"Teatri a Sud", the review of the Salento company Astràgali Teatro, realised with the support of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Apulia Region, the University of Salento and the municipal administrations of Lecce, Cavallino and San Cesario di Lecce, concludes in the cloister of the Teatini. This is the ninth edition of "La notte dei poeti", a magical interweaving of words, notes and visions, a place to grasp the true essence of poetry, a space to give voice to the numerous experiences of poetry writing present in our territory. It is an opportunity for expressive freedom that is much appreciated by the artists, which at the same time cannot fail to involve and excite the audience. The declared objective is to grasp the complexity of the research developed over the past decades, creating a possibility of encounter between those who write and those who discover writing through reading and listening. The initiative elaborates a quality response to a widespread need for knowledge and listening to poetry, to which limited opportunities for confrontation correspond.
