Strade Maestre/ The Son of the Storm

"If you want to understand the secrets of the Universe you have to think in terms of Energy, Vibrations and Frequencies". It is dedicated to the Serbian physicist Nikola Tesla "Il figlio della tempesta" (The son of the storm), a concert performance at the Cantieri Teatrali Koreja, celebrating 35 years of art and culture in the prison of Volterra by the Compagnia della Fortezza, founded in 1988 by the author, director and actor Armando Punzo. Ubu prize-winner Andrea Salvadori, the company's eclectic musical dramatist, designs a complex and evocative weave of music, images, words and presences together with visionary Armando Punzo (Ubu Prize and Golden Lion at the Theatre Biennale), known as the Architect of the Impossible. Not just a concert, but a musical-performance project that poetically reworks the company's entire iconographic, sound and emotional journey through a study of the energy and frequencies of creation. On stage, the two protagonists and some of the detained actors exchange a constant flow of energy with the audience.
