Strade maestre/Mother

A son and a mother. She fell into a well. He tries to get it out, by all means and technology. She confesses that, at the bottom of that infinite well, in reality, she doesn't feel bad, she doesn't feel uncomfortable. The allegory is that of Mother Earth and the human child, the former increasingly poisoned, the latter so arrogant as to believe he can save her but, in the meantime, destroy her. “Madre” is the show by and with Ermanna Montanari, Stefano Ricci, Daniele Roccato, for the dramaturgy by Marco Martinelli and the sound direction by Marco Olivieri.

The dialogue between the two protagonists proceeds mercilessly and tightly, in the inlay of the texts between Italian and the Romagna dialect, poised between the harsh reality of our days and the symbols of a threatening future.
