STRADE MAESTRE/It's good to live free!

Dedicated to all those who have studied anti-fascism only from school books, so that, for them too, the Resistance becomes an "April party". Inspired by the biography of Ondina Peteani written by the historian Anna Di Giannantonio, the show "It's nice to live free!" tells of the 17-year-old partisan who ignited an unstoppable need for freedom and found herself unable to stand by and watch. Ondina took part in the anti-fascist struggle in Venezia Giulia, where the Resistance began earlier than in the rest of Italy. On stage there is Marta Cuscunà, also creator, director and playwright, who returns all the joy, hopes, laughter, the vital and dizzying atmosphere of those intense, difficult, dramatic but also happy years in which everything seemed possible .
