Speech on Myth/ Vittorio Continelli

Recounting passions, feelings, adventures, misadventures, loves and metamorphoses of gods and men, the "Discourse on Myth-The Return of Ulysses to his Homeland" features Vittorio Continelli on the stage of Nasca the theater for the "Unica-Fuoribord" festival. The Apulian author, actor and director tells the story of Ulysses, a man who loves to tell stories and pretends to be anyone in order to save his skin: Odysseus, Ulysses, Nobody. A man who after losing everything juggles endless adversities. For many, the Odyssey is the story of stories, the first major tale learned, and its protagonist is the quintessential hero. But the Odyssey is also the poem of Penelope, Telemachus and all the other figures who inhabit it. Odysseus' return to his homeland seeks to restore a fragment of each of them.
